I have goosebumps from this article and the realization of how much we program ourselves...

Check out the book Beyond Belief by Nir Eyal. It is a wonderful book.

I read a story about a couple of prisoners in a Nazi concentration camp (if I am recalling this correctly). I think two of them chewed everything 50 times, including water. They survived and were less scathed physically. I guess you may say digestive enzymes. I also think the belief that is was more, filling etc helped. I can't recall if the article went that far in its interpretation.

And Bruce Lipton and The Biology of Belief tells us a lot about our health. I have used PSYCH-K to resolve 25 years of stomach pain (after medicine had no solution and no formal diagnosis). Our subconscious holds beliefs that impact our biology. And if our subconscious needs to tell us information, it can bring dis-ease as the message.

Lastly, multigenerational beliefs are inherited and can impact our biology.

Such fascinating stuff. As a PT, I believe the mind body connection is a huge driver of healing. Not all my patients are receptive 🙁. So I do what I can to introduce the "what if" idea to help people harness their own power for change.
