Thank you! fascia release deserves its own deep dive. It's on my list. The mechanisms behind it are fascinating and connect directly to everything in this article
Thank you for sharing this. A fall onto the tailbone can affect the pelvic structures in several ways, from coccyx displacement to sacroiliac joint shifts to muscular guarding patterns, and any of these can create the kind of compensatory pelvic rotation you're describing. With something this specific, the general framework in the article still applies: breathing, walking as tolerated, metabolic support, releasing tension rather than adding it. Start with what feels accessible from the article. You don't have to do everything at once. And I'd strongly recommend finding a practitioner who works with pelvic mechanics directly. An osteopath or a skilled manual therapist who has experience with structural trauma.
Wow, thanks very much for this. Lately my self-imposed stress from fasting has helped me gauge what I need vs. what I want in no other practical way since losing opportunities for frequent exercise, but this has opened my eyes to what harm I can expose myself to over the long run.
Hi! The background is actually dark green but you should be able to switch to a lighter reading experience on your end. Go to your profile > Edit Profile > Preferences > Site Theme and switch it to Light. On the app, it usually follows your phone's system theme, so you might want to check that as well. Let me know if that helps!
Thanks for trying to help. When I go to edit my profile, I don't see any option for preferences > site theme, not on the phone app nor when I go through desktop. My phone is set to light background. I did a search and it seems that *readers* cannot make this change to the background of a substack post, only the author/publisher. It seems in recent days I was able to get black backgrounds to be white on other substack posts, but I can't seem to make that happen now. I know some people prefer the black background (supposedly easier to read), but I don't. In any case, thanks for your fantastic material. Fascinating and useful!
I was looking into fascia release and this article takes it deeper. Thanks ❤️

There is so much to follow here, thank you!
I fell from a height on to my tail bone, years ago. I now have a rotated left pelvis and I can barely walk.
The advice here makes sense to me, although there is a lot to do.

Can you change rhe black background to white please?
If changing your settings doesn't help, please ping me and I'll change my publication background to white for everyone.
